At Provide, our patients, customers and service users have been at the heart of what we do for over a decade and we are proud to be recognised as an established credible community provider.
As a not-for-profit organisation, all Provide Community surpluses are reinvested into our services and the communities we serve, with grants and match funding being made to local charities, organisations and community groups. In the last decade, we have reinvested over £3 million in grants and match-funding to local causes and organisations.
Before 2006, our services were part of three predecessors: NHS Trust Chelmsford Primary Care Network (PCT), Maldon and South Chelmsford PCT and the Witham, Braintree and Halstead Care Trust. From 2006-2008 we were part of Mid Essex PCT. From April 2008, CECS was what’s known as an Arm’s Length Trading Organisation (ALTO) of the Mid Essex Primary Care Trust (PCT).
