Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships

We understand the importance of learning. A wide range of apprenticeships are available throughout all of our departments, including health and social care, customer service, team leading, business administration and HR.

Any job postings suitable for Apprenticeship applicants will be advertised on the Government’s website.

Apprenticeships are an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification and possibly a professional qualification too while you are earning a salary.

All of our apprenticeship contracts are for a minimum of 15 months or more, depending on the apprenticeship, and are undertaken directly in the workplace.  Study can be in the workplace or at a college or university.   Those undergoing an apprenticeship have access to regular support from their line manager, their training provider and the Learning and Apprenticeship Lead throughout the duration of their contract.

We believe that age should not deter an individual from applying for an apprenticeship, which is why we welcome applicants aged 16 and above with no upper age limit.

Apprenticeships are designed to help improve knowledge, skills and behaviours, ensuring that the health and social care available to future generations continues to be of a high standard.

Colleagues who have permanent roles at any level within the organisation are also able to complete apprenticeship training opportunities once they have successfully completed their probation.
