Volunteering At St. Peter’s Hospital In Maldon

Hospital volunteering is a great way of giving something back and you can help to support local people by providing friendship and support during their stay.

It is also a good way of getting direct experience for people who are looking for a career in the health service. St Peter’s Hospital is urgently looking for volunteers who can help with a mobile shop trolley.

Provide’s Volunteer Coordinator Lorraine Pendleton said: “No experience is required as all our volunteers receive appropriate training. We are looking for people who perhaps have a couple of hours a week and enjoy talking to people. “We are also looking for volunteers to act as visitors to our patients, as a friendly chat is usually very welcome”.
