Provide Community is pleased to announce they have been awarded the Transformation Award at the prestigious ITEC Awards. Provide Community is extremely proud for receiving the award, a big congratulations to the Essex TEC team for the work they deliver through technology-enabled care (TEC).
After being shortlisted for the award, Provide Community travelled to Birmingham to attend the ITEC conference which included displays and talks, detailing how digital solutions can transform the lives of people across the county and their communities. It was an incredibly popular event as all the nominees gathered at the venue in the evening at the Dinner Gala where the winners were announced.
The ITEC awards celebrate the positive impact technology-enabled care services has on lives across the UK. The award highlights organisations and healthcare initiatives, such as Provide CareCall24 7, which have adopted innovation and integration to deliver technology and care that significantly benefits users, carers, and communities.
The ITEC Awards act as a benchmark of quality for Provide Community and will attract recognition from the whole TEC Community. Provide Community is proud to be accepting this prestigious award as recognition for the life-changing care they deliver daily to vulnerable individuals.
Mark Heasman, Group Chief Executive Director of Provide Community, said “We are absolutely delighted to receive this award. It is a true reflection of the outstanding partnership we have with Millbrook and Essex County Council and the imaginative synergy that has been created working together with them. As we look to live out our values of care, compassion, and innovation here at Provide, this is yet another example of others recognising the tangible work that has been done to deliver these.”
Introduced in 2018, the ITEC Awards highlight the transformative impact that modern technology enabled care services has on the lives of individuals across the UK; nominations are gathered across six different categories, including the Leadership Award and the TEC Hero Award.
Kerry Hooper, Assistant Director of Transformation and Support at Home said: “We are absolutely over the moon to have this award. We knew that we had developed something special but really did not think that we would get this sort of recognition. It is amazing!”
Rob Hill, Commercial & Business Development Manager at Provide Carecall 24 7, attended the event and said, “Winning the ITEC Award for Transformation as part of Essex TEC is a fantastic recognition of all the hard work and long hours that the Provide team have put in.
“As part of Essex TEC, Provide now operate a county-wide Monitoring and Response Service, which ensures those that need extra support are able to carry on living safely and independently in their own homes. The service helps to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions and ambulance call outs.
“Provide Community is uniquely placed in the Health and Social care sectors to offer a joined-up approach to person-centred outcomes, allowing people to remain independent in their own homes.”
