The University of Essex has recently celebrated the launch of its new Public Health and Wellbeing Institute, which Provide Community is supporting with a donation of £135,000 to fund an exciting three-year fellowship.
News of the funding was announced at the launch of Essex’s fourth research institute, where Mark Heasman met with Vice Chancellor Professor Anthony Forster to hand over the cheque. The event was incredibly popular, with over 100 people from across both the health and social care sector in attendance, which saw guests celebrating the University’s latest efforts in bringing together students and researchers to improve health and wellbeing.
The three-year fellowship will see students combine artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics with unique medical approaches throughout their studies, enabling them to explore new areas of interest within the health and wellbeing industry.
Provide Community is excited to witness the evolution of this research in the coming years as the relationship between Provide and the University of Essex continues to grow stronger.
