Provide Community is proud to present Noah’s Rainbow with a cheque for £5,000. Founded in 2020, Noah’s Rainbow is a charity set up by Kat Wright in memory of her son Noah Wright, which fundraises on behalf of Abbie’s Army, a charity that funds research into DIPG brain tumours and Little Havens Hospice, which provides care for young people with complex or incurable conditions and support for their families.
Tilly Kelly, one of the Governors at Provide Community, nominated the charity as part of an initiative that donated over £120,000 to charities and local causes nominated by our own members.
Noah’s Rainbow was selected and allocated a sum of funding from the board of our Council of Governors as part of our commitment as a Community Interest Company that reinvests its funds in the communities that we serve.
Tilly Kelly, Governor at Provide said; “I was in absolute awe of the strength shown by Kat and those who know her and her family, and how they continue to honour Noah’s memory in the fundraising they do.
“The community support surrounding the family is incredible with everyone in Tollesbury banding together during their time of need. I had the honour of being an administrator for the Children’s Community Nursing team at the time Noah passed away, so he holds a special place in my heart.”
The £5,000 donation will be split evenly between Abbie’s Army and Little Havens Hospice to fund extensive research into DIPG brain tumours and support for young people with complex or incurable conditions.
Kat Wright, the founder of Noah’s Rainbow commented on the difference the donation will make; “We’re overwhelmed by the generous donation from Provide which will make a huge difference to the lives of Little Havens and Abbie’s Army.”
