Provide Community Equipment’s diverse Customer Service team can support customers in 16 languages, helping more people communicate with confidence when contacting the service.
The team speaks English, Spanish, Russian, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Somali, Polish, Swahili, Italian, Latvian, French, Marathi, Konkani, Punjabi and Yoruba.
Joe Coogan, Chief Operating Officer at Provide Community Equipment said: “This breadth of language skills reflects the diversity of both our workforce and the communities we support. It enables our team to respond more effectively to customers’ needs, explain information clearly and help make their experience of the service more accessible and inclusive.
“Whether someone is contacting us about an equipment delivery, collection, repair or another enquiry, being able to speak with a team member in a familiar language can help them feel understood and reassured.”
It is one of the many ways Provide Community Equipment is working to deliver a responsive, person-centred service for the communities and commissioners we serve across north London.
