From 1 April 2018 a new wheelchair service will be provided across Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge. This new service will be run by AJM Healthcare, a specialist provider of mobility equipment.
Service users have been sent a letter informing them of the changes, including the below key information about the new service and how they can contact AJM Healthcare.
- New service telephone number: 0808 169 104 (For all enquiries during opening hours and for emergency repairs)
- Opening hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
- Emergency repair service hours: 7am to 8.30am and 5.30pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday; 7am to 11pm, weekends and bank holidays

Our priority is to ensure that users of the Redbridge Wheelchair Service continue to receive an uninterrupted service, and so their care will be automatically transferred to AJM Healthcare from 1 April.
