Healthwatch Essex, in collaboration with Chelmsford Cathedral, would like to invite staff and patients from across Essex to celebrate 70 years of the NHS.
Join us for an afternoon celebrating health and social care across the county. You’ll hear amazing stories from patients and clinicians as well as readings and reflections. All faiths are welcome, and staff are encouraged to wear uniforms to the service with pride.
The celebration will take place from 3.30pm -4.30pm on Sunday, 14th October.
Music will be provided by Nichola Scholey and the Chelmsford Cathedral Musicians.
An unsupervised play area will be available, and so we’d love as many health and social care professionals, patients and patients’ families as possible to come along!
The Cathedral service will kick start a week of events to mark the NHS 70th birthday. The week will see Healthwatch Essex visit various health and social care locations across the county, giving both the public and staff the chance to share with them their personal experiences of health and social care.
