Every Tuesday, from 31 January 2017, the Essex Lifestyle team will be available at Maldon District Council’s offices at Princes Road, Maldon, Essex, CM9 5DL

Jack Cranmer, a Lifestyle Practitioner, who will be running the Maldon locality service said:

“Between 9 am -11am there is a ‘drop in’ service for anyone who is experiencing loneliness, depression or isolation. These issues can affect not only your mental and emotional well-being but also your physical health. Many services and groups can offer advice and practical support and we can make referrals for you. No appointment is necessary – just pop in and see us.”

“For the rest of the day we will offer appointments for 1:1 support for other lifestyle issues such as stopping smoking, increasing physical activity and healthy eating. We can also help people with long term conditions. You are far more likely to successfully make changes to your lifestyle with our help and support.”

For residents who would like to use the service on a different day or in a different way then please contact us (using the details on this website).

Cllr Ron Pratt, Chairman of Community Services at Maldon District Council said:

“We are pleased to be working in partnership with the Lifestyle team to offer these services at the Council Offices. This supports the Council’s goal to help communities to be safe, active and healthy.”
