Staff praised for caring attitude.
Provide’s community health services have received very positive results from a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection, with all aspects of care rated as ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’.
Across all services, staff were praised for the way they treat people with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.
In addition, Provide’s Community Health Services for Children, Young People and Families was rated as outstanding for the way they involve and treat children, young people, parents and families.
The CQC inspections took place over several days in December 2016 and the inspection team took into account the views of service users, their families and friends as well as stakeholders and the wider community.
The CQC’s report is available from: www.cqc.org.uk/provider/1-168055209
Jane Corser, Executive Clinical and Operations Director at Provide said:
“This report is a real tribute to all our members of staff who work tirelessly to deliver professional care and treat people with dignity and respect.
“In particular, I want to highlight the achievement of members of staff working in our children’s specialist and public health services whose caring attitude to children, young people, parents and families was rated as ‘outstanding’ by the CQC.
“The CQC’s report shows that staff morale is high and identifies many areas of good practice. We have a very open culture, invest in staff training and encourage innovation. I think this inclusive way of working is successful and results in good patient care.”
