Provide Community proudly hosted their Annual Charity Golf Day on Friday 12 September 2025 at Chelmsford Golf Club, raising £10,000 in aid of the Huntington’s Disease Association.

The Huntington’s Disease Association is a UK-wide charity dedicated to improving care, support, and understanding of Huntington’s disease – a rare, hereditary, and life-limiting condition.

The event brought together colleagues and key stakeholders for a day of friendly competition. A total of 79 golfers took part in the tournament, making the most of the late summer sunshine, and Chelmsford Golf Club’s excellent facilities. Participants enjoyed a challenging 18-hole round of golf, with additional on-course competitions to add to the fun, followed by dinner, with all proceeds going directly to support individuals and families affected by Huntington’s disease.

Speaking about event, Philip Richards, Group Chief Finance Officer, at Provide Community, said: “We are thrilled with the success of this year’s Charity Golf Day and the generosity shown by everyone who took part. The funds raised will make a real difference to the Huntington’s Disease Association, which carries out vital work supporting people living with this condition and their loved ones.

“On behalf of Provide Community, I would like to thank all the teams, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make the day such an enjoyable and impactful event.”

The Annual Charity Golf Day, which has raised funds Zarach and Ormiston Families in previous years, is part of Provide Community’s ongoing commitment, as a community interest company, to supporting charitable organisations and community initiatives that make a positive impact on people’s lives.
