Dorset Child Health Information Service Tender Success

Post Date:
Category:
Towards the end of 2019 we submitted a bid for the Dorset Child Health Information Service (CHIS) which was put out to tender by NHS England and NHS Improvement South West.
In March 2020 we received the excellent news that we had been successful in winning the tender. The new contract will start on 1 November 2020.
We have established our mobilisation team which includes representatives from our current CHIS, HR, Estates, Contracts, Finance and PMO services. The team are currently meeting fortnightly and also meet with the commissioner on a fortnightly basis to keep them up-to-date with our progress.
The service is currently provided by Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust and is comprised of a team of eight experienced staff who will TUPE transfer to us on 1 November 2020.
We have held an initial meeting with the team and provided them with information about Provide and also our new service delivery model.
