Provide is on the shortlist of just six companies for a Social Enterprise of the Year Award.

“It is a great achievement to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award and it is a tribute to the innovation and commitment of our staff.
“In our application we stressed that Provide is a strong, clinically led organisation as demonstrated by the organisation’s latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) Inspection which rated our services as good or outstanding.
“In addition we were able to show that by developing our services and making the most of new technology Provide is delivering more convenient, easy to use and cost-effective services.
“One of the examples we gave was that the number of people choosing to use the Essex Sexual Health Service’s online sexual health testing services (since its launch in April 2016 has increased dramatically, which has reduced the number of face-to-face appointments that are needed. The winners will be announced at the UK Private Business Awards ceremony which will be held on Thursday 14th September 2017.
Provide has been trading as a social enterprise since 2011 and is now in its 7th year.
